Samsung Galaxy repair

Samsung Galaxy repair done right — curved screens, foldables, and board-level work

Samsung builds the hardest phones in the industry to repair, and most shops know it. Curved AMOLED panels that wrap the edges, Z Fold and Z Flip hinges, and ultrasonic fingerprint sensors that need firmware pairing all get quietly turned away or fumbled. We don't turn them away. WeFixed is a board-level microsoldering workshop in Arlington, VA — we fix the Galaxy S, Note, Z Fold, Z Flip, and A-series phones other shops send back, including charging circuits and water-damaged boards that aren't a simple parts swap. Every repair starts with a $65 written diagnostic that applies toward your repair, and an honest answer on whether the fix is worth it. Walk into our Arlington bench or mail it in tracked from any of the 50 states.

Every Samsung, board-level

What we fix

Every Samsung fault, repaired right.

Cracked curved AMOLED

Galaxy S and Note edge displays crack along the curve, where pressure and adhesive make a clean swap genuinely hard. We replace the full panel and re-pair the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor so touch and fingerprint unlock keep working — not the half-done job that disables it.

Z Fold / Z Flip screen & hinge

Inner foldable panels develop crease lines, black bars, and dead halves; hinges pop, grind, or stop closing flat. Foldables are their own animal — we diagnose whether it's the inner display, the hinge assembly, or both, and quote honestly before we open it.

Charging port & "moisture detected"

USB-C ports wear out, and a stuck "moisture detected" warning that blocks charging often means a corroded or failing port — not actual water. We clean, test, and replace the port, and chase the charging fault to the board when it's deeper than the connector.

Battery drain & swelling

Galaxy batteries fade after a couple years — fast drain, sudden shutdowns, or a swelling pack pushing the screen or back glass apart. A swollen battery is a safety issue; we replace it promptly and check the charging circuit that may have caused it.

Water damage & no power

IP-rated doesn't mean immune. Liquid corrodes the board and a Galaxy that won't power on is often a microsolder repair, not a write-off. Our diagnostic finds the failed component — power IC, charging circuit, or shorted line — and tells you straight whether it's recoverable.

Back glass & camera

Shattered rear glass and scratched or foggy camera lenses are common on S Ultra and A-series phones. We replace back glass cleanly without cooking the wireless charging coil, and swap camera assemblies so your shots are sharp again.

Good to know

Samsung repair, answered honestly.

Can you fix a curved Galaxy screen without breaking the fingerprint sensor?
Yes. Samsung's under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor needs firmware pairing after a screen swap — something many shops skip, which is why your unlock stops working after a cheap repair. We re-pair the sensor and verify touch, brightness, and unlock before the phone leaves our Arlington bench.
Do you repair Z Fold and Z Flip foldables?
We do — they're one of the main reasons people drive to us. Foldable inner screens and hinges are notoriously hard, and most shops won't touch them. We diagnose whether it's the inner panel, the hinge, or both, give you an honest quote, and tell you up front if a repair isn't worth it on your specific model.
My Galaxy got wet and won't turn on — is it worth fixing?
Often, yes, and that's exactly the board-level work most shops can't do. Liquid damage usually means a corroded or shorted component, not a dead phone. Our $65 diagnostic finds the actual fault under the microscope and gives you a straight answer on whether microsoldering can recover it before you spend on the repair.
OEM or aftermarket screen — which do I get?
Your choice, and we're upfront about the trade-off. Genuine Samsung OLED matches original color, brightness, and the ultrasonic sensor, and carries our 1-year warranty. Quality aftermarket panels cost less, can show slight color shift, and carry a 1-month warranty. We'll tell you which makes sense for your model and how long you plan to keep it.
