iPad repair

iPad repair, down to the board.

Cracked glass, a battery that quits by lunch, a port that won't charge, or an iPad that won't turn on at all — we fix every model at the component level, from the original iPad to the latest iPad Pro. Walk in to our Arlington bench or mail it in from anywhere in the US.

Every iPad, board-level

Every iPad. Every fault. One bench.

iPads are thin, fused and stubborn — most shops just swap the whole unit. We open them properly: laminated screens, glued batteries, and the logic board itself.

The short answer

Yes, we fix iPads at the component level instead of swapping the whole device, covering every original iPad, Air, mini and Pro. That includes laminated screen and digitizer replacement, glued battery cells, board-mounted charging ports, liquid damage, no-power board faults and data recovery. A $65 written diagnostic applies toward the repair, with honest advice if it is not worth fixing.

Apple and carriers usually replace the whole iPad; we open and repair it.

What we fix

Every iPad fault, repaired right.

Cracked or unresponsive screen

Digitiser and laminated-display replacement on every iPad, Air, mini and Pro — touch back to edge-to-edge.

Battery that won't hold

Swollen or worn cells replaced and the glued assembly re-sealed properly, not taped back together.

Won't charge or connect

Charging-port and tail-connector repair, including micro-soldered ports on models where the port is board-mounted.

No power / board faults

Liquid damage, dropped-and-dead boards, backlight and power-rail faults — diagnosed and repaired at the chip level.

Data recovery

Photos and files pulled from iPads that won't boot — documented chain of custody, nothing sold or shared.

Buttons, cameras & glass

Home/Touch ID, volume, rear glass and camera repairs — the small things other shops decline.

Good to know

iPad repair, answered honestly.

Can you fix an iPad screen, or do I have to replace the whole iPad?
We replace the screen. iPad displays are laminated and glued, which is why many stores just swap the whole device — we have the tooling and the bench experience to separate, replace and re-laminate the glass and digitiser on every model, including the Pros.
My iPad got wet / won't turn on. Is it worth fixing?
Often, yes. We do a $65 board-level diagnostic first — ultrasonic clean, corrosion repair and component-level work can bring back a "dead" iPad and, just as importantly, your data. You get a written quote before any work, and we'll tell you honestly if it isn't worth it.
How long does an iPad repair take?
Common screen and battery jobs are usually same-day. Board-level, water-damage and data-recovery work takes longer because of the diagnostic and re-seal, but you'll always have a written timeline before we start.
Do you fix every iPad model?
Yes — from the original iPad through every iPad, iPad Air, iPad mini and iPad Pro generation. If you're not sure which model you have, start an instant quote and we'll identify it from the details.
