We swap the cell on an anti-static Repair Center, replace adhesive and any waterproof gasket we disturb, and reseat the connectors so charging and Face ID work as they should.
Verify charge and board health
We cycle the new battery, confirm it holds and reports correctly, and if shutdowns persist we move to the charging IC and PMIC instead of sending you back out the door.
